The Potenza™ RF Microneedling with Tiger Tip technology performs like no topical ever could. This treatment stimulates new collagen production to not only give you tighter, firmer-looking skin, but younger-acting skin.

 

Potenza™ is an FDA-cleared RF microneedling, handheld device that penetrates the dermis’ outermost layers and creates small wounds in the skin to allow topical products to penetrate deep into the dermis. In addition, the Potenza™ Radio Frequency (RF) microneedling system adds radiofrequency energy to the microneedling procedure.

 

Microneedling and radiofrequency energy have already been shown to improve skin condition, but Potenza™ brings them both together to produce even better results. While microneedling can stimulate collagen as well as breaking up acne scarring and signs of aging, RF treatment has anti-aging and collagen-building effects as well. Potenza delivers RF energy so deeply that results are produced quicker and more dramatically.

 

The Potenza device can be combined with neurotoxins and PRP. The microneedling allows for the nutrients to penetrate deep into the skin layers. Using the fusion tip provides maximum results and enhanced topical penetration. This tip breaks through your skin barrier to promote the penetration of topicals by up to 67%.

 

Unlike many skin revitalization devices and treatments on the market, Potenza™ treatments can be performed on all skin types, all skin tones, and almost any external part of the face and body with the use of a microneedling device to improve skin texture.

 

This highly customizable device allows us to adjust the depth of the needles, the type and amount of RF energy used, and the handpiece used to administer the treatment. The microneedles are as small as possible for maximum comfort and the RF energy causes no harm to the skin’s surface.

Potenza treatments take about 45 minutes, and you may need a series of three or four treatments, six weeks apart, for optimal results. About two weeks after your first treatment, you should see smoother and more glowing skin. However, it may take 2-6 months to see the final results because your body needs time to begin making collagen and elastin after the treatment.

 

There is little downtime after the treatment, and you can go about your daily activities when you walk out the clinic door. The treatment area may be slightly red, and some swelling may be seen. These symptoms do pass within a day or so.

When will I see results/what can I expect?

The elastin and collagen building typically takes place 4-6 weeks after treatment, with optimal results usually seen at 12 weeks after the last treatment. The number of passes and penetration to the skin will affect the results seen.

How long is the treatment?

This Potenza treatment is well-tolerated, with limited side effects such as pinpoint bleeding, swelling, redness, or irritation. As pain tolerance varies from patient to patient, numbing cream may be offered by your physician to make it more comfortable.
