Potenza™ is an FDA-cleared RF microneedling, handheld device that penetrates the dermis’ outermost layers and creates small wounds in the skin to allow topical products to penetrate deep into the dermis. In addition, the Potenza™ Radio Frequency (RF) microneedling system adds radiofrequency energy to the microneedling procedure.

 

Microneedling and radiofrequency energy have already been shown to improve skin condition, but Potenza™ brings them both together to produce even better results. While microneedling can stimulate collagen as well as breaking up acne scarring and signs of aging, RF treatment has anti-aging and collagen-building effects as well. Potenza treatments take about 45 minutes, and you may need a series of three or four treatments, six weeks apart, for optimal results. There is little downtime after the treatment, and you can go about your daily activities when you walk out the clinic door. The treatment area may be slightly red, and some swelling may be seen. These symptoms do pass within a day or so.
